Orbis One Foundation is a registered 501(c) (3) Nonprofit organization with a mission to bring awareness to climate change and pollution issues by demonstrating and promoting sustainable technologies.

MEET OUR TEAM

Our team is dedicated to making a difference. We see climate change as a threat to everyone and will use our abilities to help the effort to slow, abate, and reverse its impacts.

Sherri Diaz

Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer

Sherri's background in fundraising and administration include work for the United Jewish Federation of San Diego, Shields Development Inc., and events for San Diego City Council Todd Gloria, and Senator Susan Davis. Sherri brings her expertise in non-profit fundraising, client services, and collaboration with donors and volunteers as well as accounting and administration.

Richard Manceau

Founder and CEO

With a background in manufacturing engineering and quality assurance Richard has over thirty years experience in design and construction of composite structures.  From surfboards and windmill blades to military drones and Indy cars he has worked for the likes of General Atomics, Advanced Composites Eng, Goodrich Aerostructures, Boeing, and Foam Matrix.   Richard will be bringing his expertise to Orbis One’s trans-global electric flight project.

 

 

 

Calvin Manceau

Site Admin/Workshop Assistant

Working as a whale swim guide in the remote islands of Vava'u Tonga Calvin could clearly see the effects of climate change and pollution first hand.  During the off season Calvin is contributing though his passion for technology and will be helping us with online media and ultimately the documentary.

From design and building to FAA requirements EAA members will be an indispensable resource for our success.
